A couple more shots from my outting on Saturday. The first is from Big Johnson Reservoir, the second from Fountain Valley Nature Center. We've had an exceptionally dry winter and you can see that in these photos.
True, the Peak is beautiful under almost any conditions; it's just scary dry right now. Just on Tuesday there was a wild fire not far from where I took these pictures. Luckily, it was put out within a few hours.
Mike and Lizette -- on a day like this, you could probably see for at least 100 miles in any direction from the top of the Peak. Of course, getting there through the snow at high elevations would be another matter.
