Fall Colors, 1 of ???

We hiked Cataract Loop Trail, north of Silverthore, CO on Saturday and took a lot, I mean a lot, of pictures.  On Sunday, we drove Borreas Pass road, out of Breckenridge and took a lot of pictures up there too. Fall color is now at it's peak, at least around Breck, right now and it was spectacular over the weekend.  I'll put a few shot up in the next week or so.

Cataract Loop trail is a loop, about 2.5 miles around Cataract Lake, a glimpse of which you can catch here.

Waiting for Winter

Anticipating winter, maybe even an early onset of winter, here's a picture from Mueller State Park taken year before last, New Years Day, I think, when we snowshoed some of the trails there.  It was an extraordinarily beautiful day in Colorado, as you can see.
