I'm jumping around chronologically, but here are a few shots from our trip to Ft. Collins last week. I saw my first robin of the year, and also came across what appears to be a beaver dam under construction. I was surprised to see the size of the trees they were working with
We have beavers in the creek at Hasty Brook. They sure can take a tree down fast!

ReplyDeleteThey can. A group of them built a dam in Fountain Creek that runs through the city near where I live. It was huge and came together within a month or so; it created a little island in the middle of the creek before city workers broke it up. They feared flooding in the creek, I guess. It was that big.
